TPA Portable Roadways is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of temporary access solutions. Operating from bases in the UK and Germany, TPA provides equipment rental and installation of portable roadways, walkways and stairways, to customers in the transmission, construction, rail and outdoor events markets.
TPA Rapid Rail Access is firmly established in the rail sector as the principle provider of safe, effective, value for money access systems. Providing nationwide hire of specialist temporary access equipment designed, approved and dedicated for use in the rail sector.
Following a successful year of growth, the TPA Pontoon division will be adding a new vehicle with a dedicated crew for transporting and assisting with the installation of modular plastic pontoons.
Since its creation, the pontoon division has utilised freelance labour and third party transport for delivering and installing pontoons. However, with the increased volume of work, a dedicated crew has been recruited from within existing depot based operatives and a new light weight 7.5T vehicle with a suitable crane will arrive during May ’18. These additional resources will enable the division to react quickly to the short lead times often experienced in this sector and will also assist with improving operational cost control.
