TPA Reports Outstanding Achilles UVDB Audit Result

04 Dec

TPA Portable Roadways is proud to announce a successful outcome following an Achilles Utility Vendor Database (UVDB) audit in November 2018 in which a near perfect score was achieved.

The UVDB certification is a pre-qualification requisite which allows TPA to promote their services to major buyers including UK Power Networks, United Utilities, National Grid and Water authorities.

The 2 day audit, completed at TPA Worksop, covered 18 key areas, incorporating Health and Safety, environmental, business ethics, waste management, training and competence, site security and emergency planning. An electronic version continually monitors year round performance to ensure the standards are being upheld.

Utilities companies insist on UVDB accreditation for tender or supply opportunities and a listing on the database demonstrates TPA’s compliance with EU procurement legislation.

This award confirms the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance within the supply chain network and underpins their resolve to operate efficiently while reducing overheads and mitigating risk.

Tom Henderson, TPA Portable Roadways Operations Manager - Compliance, applauds the TPA team achievement:

“I am delighted that we have been formally recognised with a magnificent audit score and that we continue to operate and develop robust practical systems and procedures across the company.

It is an excellent result and testimony to the professionalism and dedication of the TPA team.”
